How Glüxkind Transformed Baby Gear With AI-Powered Smart Strollers.
Glüxkind reimagines strollers with AI-powered navigation, making parenting safer and more convenient. Founded by Anne and Kevin during the rise of AI, the company saw a major opportunity to modernize baby gear that hadn’t evolved in decades.
The Challenge.
Founded in 2020 by Anne Hunger and Kevin Huang, Glüxkind emerged from the frustration that while AI was transforming industries worldwide, parenting tech remained stuck in the past with strollers unchanged for decades. Just as they were gearing up for production in 2021-2022, the global supply chain crisis hit, creating a domino effect of setbacks including chip shortages that made critical AI components nearly impossible to source, soaring shipping costs that surged overnight, factory slowdowns from labor shortages, and geopolitical tensions that made supply chains unpredictable. Additionally, to expand globally and attract investors, Glüxkind needed to incorporate in the U.S., which came with tax regulations, compliance requirements, financial setup, and legal paperwork that could quickly become overwhelming when they needed to focus on building their product.

The Solution.
Instead of letting delays and rising costs derail their vision, Glüxkind adapted by redesigning key components to reduce reliance on limited suppliers, sourcing alternative manufacturers, streamlining operations to absorb increased costs without sacrificing quality, and strengthening supplier relationships for long-term resilience. For their business foundation, Glüxkind partnered with doola to handle the entire incorporation process rather than getting buried in administrative and legal tasks. doola managed the incorporation process from start to finish, handled tax and legal compliance so they could operate without hidden risks, and streamlined banking and operational accounts to make cross-border financial management seamless. This allowed Glüxkind to stay laser-focused on engineering a product that would redefine parenting.
The Result.

With doola handling the business setup and supply chain adaptations in place, Glüxkind successfully brought their AI-powered smart stroller to market with features including self-driving mode, automatic braking, advanced obstacle detection, hands-free assist, and built-in soothing features. While other companies stalled during the supply chain crisis, Glüxkind found ways to move forward by adapting, rethinking, and problem-solving. Their U.S. incorporation provided easier access to funding, stronger legal protections for their technology, and a smoother path to international expansion. The company successfully created emotional connections with customers by selling solutions rather than just features, proving that innovation combined with the right business foundation can overcome even global disruptions.
