How do I get a trade name?

In Wyoming, you get a trade name by following these simple steps:

  1. Complete the Application for the Registration of Trade Name
  2. File this form ⤴️ with the Secretary of State’s office along with the $100 fee
  3. Ensure the application is signed and notarized, and ensure your trade name must have been in use before registering
  4. Mail your application to this address:
